See if you can figure out who said this:

Wow, I didn't think it would be that easy! Did you look that up, Bill, or are you a closet theologian?
You are, of course correct. I am doing a paper on the subordination of Christ to the Father, and I have most all of the pre-Nicene to post Nicece church fathers.
Clement also said resurrection is like the Phoenix rising from the ashes - and he describes the Phoenix as a real bird...that "lives in the eastern regions.." Hmmm....
